Welcome! Whether you're new to kayaking or an experienced pro, we hope this website will provide you with helpful information about paddling the waterways in and around the Gulf Coast of Florida.

This site is provided to you by a novice kayaker - but a local novice with knowledge about the area and a bunch of kayaking friends and associates willing to contribute their knowledge. Because of the growing interest of kayaking/canoeing in the Sarasota/Charlotte/Desoto County area, I thought I'd put this site up to help others find some of the unique scenery we have in the area, and take in some of the great little bars & restaurants that make the Gulf Coast of FL such a wonderful place to live!

If you have any tips or any information you'd like to contribute to this site, please feel free to contact me. Happy paddling!
